What Personal Branding is REALLY about

You hear it in videos an read about it in articles, Personal Branding. It’s not the same at product branding. Many have misunderstood what personal branding is all about. It’s more than putting a picture or video on a website.

Start with the end in mind. Who are you? There’s alot about you that people will want to know. You’re a Mom, a Wife, A Sister, a Daughter, a cook, a dog washer, a runner, an arobics instructor, a PTA volunteer and on weekend - you volunteer at the local soup kitchen. All of this is your personal brand.

You like doing what you like doing, but there’s a reason I’ve brought this up. Your interests create connections with other people. I’m into classic cars, which makes it easy for me to connect with people who have and enjoy classic cars.

Who do you think about when I say “Personal Brand”? Trump, Oprah, how about Rachael Ray? These are some of the people who have great personal brand that you can learn from. Look at George Foreman, ever seen that cool grill he sells? Infomercial loud mouth, Billy Mays? Yes, even he is a personal brand. Even has his own tv show Pitchmen. But, you don’t need a TV show to have a personal brand.

Look around at your internet websites. Who or what are you marketing? Many who have a business have put the wrong foot forward. Look at the trend in dentistry. The want to put the focus on their brand and not on the dentist, but WHY do people goto their dentist? Not because they’ve got a cute, catchy name and logo. They go because of the doctor. Doctors and Lawyers have really got to put the focus of their marketing back into their own person brand.

People buy from people they like. Remember this. You want people to get to know you and maybe they’ll even like you. when you share information about yourself, people will begin to like you if there’s a connection. Share your story, share your life, and don’t be afraid to share everything. It’s REAL life. Not an ad. Connections are the root of personal branding.

Start of with your story. Why do you do what you do? Maybe you’re a mother who got sick of someone else raising your kids. You’re job was eliminated and you took matters into your own hands and now you’re self employed and enjoy a nice residual income. What makes you passionatie about your what you do? What do you do when you’re not helping people look their best? When you tell your story, people will become pre-sold on working with you.

Don’t get caught up on the planning. Start by doing. Write your story, Take some pictures, Make the videos and always apply what you learn on a daily basis. It’s great to find out that blogging is a great way to connect with people, but if you don’t build a blog it won’t matter. So, take action now and begin today.

The Last Time I Saw Archie: Webb’s lone try at comedy is less ludicrous than some of his more earnest films; a shame, since William Bowers’ script-based on his own Army experiences had genuine potential, and Mitchum pleasantly underplays as the con guy. Alien from L.A.: California Valley Gal falls down into a gap and finds her in the lost city of Atlantis. The movie is as stupid as it sounds. Cast includes Kathy Ireland, Thorn Matthews, William R. Moses, Don Michael Paul, Richard Haines, Linda Kerridge, and Janie du Plessis. (87 minutes, 1987)

Semi-Tough: Carefree comedy in reference to 2 football megastars and their reciprocal lady friend drifts too much to hit some chief points however it does have some ludicrous minutes. Reynolds’ charm makes up for film’s other deficiencies. Cast includes Burt Reynolds, Kris Kristofferson, Jill Clayburgh, Robert Preston, Bert Convy, Lotte Lenya, Roger E. Mosley, Richard Masur, Carl Weathers, Brian Dennehy, and Ron Silver. (108 minutes, 1977)

You will also think about endless plowing and shoveling of snow, wet shoes entering the house, putting on chains on the wheels of your car, and other things bad about winter. However, have you ever considered the fact that winter can also be great?

Try to remember the days when you were still a kid and you just can’t wait for winter to come. Just imagine that back in those days, you were making snow angels, snow man, joining snowball fights, sledding, and skiing. Wouldn’t it be great if you can experience these things all over again? And, wouldn’t it be great if you can do it somewhere where you don’t have to worry about shoveling the snow in front of your yard?

If you want to experience all these things all over again, then you might want to try going on a skiing vacation with your family. Today, you will see countless ski resorts all over the world that will be able to accommodate you and your family and provide you with fun and excitement in the winter months. Here, you will be able to enjoy everything that the winter has to offer.

From building snowman to having snowball fights and to skiing, you will be able to do everything that you did when you were still a kid on winter time. And, you can do it with your family.

If you haven’t skied in your life before, then you will see that most of the ski resorts will be able to provide you with lessons on how to ski. This is a great way for the whole family to bond together.

Ski resorts will not just have skiing activities available, but they will also be able to offer you a lot of things that you can do in the snow. For example, if you want to explore the mountain and the forest, then you can rent one of those snowmobiles and ride away. You can also try the extreme sport of snowboarding if you are up to the challenge.

If you are going to take your family with you on a skiing holiday, you might want to go for some of the vacation packages offered by most of the ski resorts. This way, you will be able to avail of the discounts that are usually included in the package. Some will even have bonuses where you will be able to get free ski instructions. The great thing about tour packages is that everything is planned out. You don’t really need to worry about anything at all after you booked for a ski holiday package.

In most cases, the discount packages are available during the slow months. By scheduling your trip and by making the kids miss school for a couple of days then you will be able to make the discount packages offered work for you.

If you plan on going on a skiing holiday with your family and you want to avail of the discount packages, the best way that you can do so is by calling the ski resort you plan on going to or you can also know about it by connecting with a travel agent. Remember these tips and you can be sure that the winter months will never be gloomy like it was before.
